Ballet is a traditional form of performance and concert dance that is usually performed to the accompaniment of classical music. This is the main source of study offered at Susquehanna Valley
Dance Company, and the most challenging. Students require a lot of training and decipline in order to become successful ballet dancers. By the same token, the results are all the more
rewarding.
Our ballet instructor and Susquehanna Valley Dance Company founder Laura Strawser has earned critical acclaim as a ballet dancer in the past. Today, Laura remains passionate
about ballet and seeks to share that knowledge with others who are eager to learn. Laura offers courses for beginner, intermediate and advanced ballet dancers.
SVDC takes pride in it's strict and rigorous ballet program, in which students are trained at a professional level in preporation for any audition and performance.
